Dana Fulenwider Bitzer

Overview

Dana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Architectural Studies from Emory University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado Boulder. Her career spans both real estate development and interior design, with experience as a project manager at leading firms in each discipline. Dana brings a uniquely integrated perspective to her work, seamlessly bridging design, development, and execution while collaborating closely with all project stakeholders.

Background

Dana began her career in New York City, working in interior design at Brunschwig & Fils before returning to her home state of Colorado to pursue real estate development. She served as a Project Manager at the Denver-based real estate development firm Urban Ventures, where she worked on mixed-use urban infill and affordable housing projects.

In her late twenties, Dana stepped away from traditional professional life to travel and deepen her study of yoga and meditation. She practiced in Mexico, earned her yoga teaching certification in India, and spent time living on ashrams in both India and Bali. This period of exploration profoundly shaped her perspective—cultivating a thoughtful, grounded approach that continues to inform her design philosophy.

Today, Dana works with private clients, real estate developers, and architects to create refined, intentional interiors. She remains actively engaged in real estate and serves on the Board of Directors of L.C. Fulenwider Inc., a fourth-generation, 125-year-old Colorado-based real estate company.
